LE TUMULUS DE
BOUGON
An extensive
collection of archeological artifacts
reflecting the history of the people who built these monumental
ŒDolmens¹ more than 6,000 years ago. It consists of 5 tumuli
with
8 burial chambers, that have now been found to have been built around
4,500 BC, i.e. 2,000 years before the Egyptian Pyramids. There is a
replica house from a Neolithic village, workshops demonstrating
basket-making, weaving and pottery and a hands-on experience for
children.
LE
PUY DU FOU
(VENDEE)
There is
a magical land where
time has gone out of control. Gladiators still do battle and
Vikings continue to launch their attacks on fortified
castles.
There is a different era in each village. There are minstrels
in
the heart of the woods and master falconers in the meadows.
This
huge area covering 40 hectares is the Puy du Fou Grand Parc.
LE
FUTUROSCOPE
An amazing
technical experience that has you riding
through outer space, with 3D effects that have the whole room move with
you. Cyberworld and lots more.
